<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>The Knicks rallied from a 23-point second-half deficit Sunday at the Garden with Eddy Curry and Zach Randolph on the bench. Both post players are prime candidates for more pine time, as Isiah Thomas said to expect lineup changes after the Knicks were beaten, 95-90, by the Lakers. Thomas said he wanted to infuse "energy and intense guys in our lineup" for Wednesday's game at Orlando. Lately, Curry and Randolph haven't fit into either category. "We have to find ... a group that wants to consistently compete for 48 minutes," Thomas said after the last-place Knicks fell to 8-19. Randolph didn't question any moves Thomas may make. He and Curry were subbed for David Lee and Malik Rose early in the second half. Lee scored 10 points and grabbed seven rebounds in the half, when he helped the Knicks pull within one point. He recorded his seventh double-double of the season with 12 points and 13 rebounds, but he threw an ill-fated inbounds pass intended for Nate Robinson that Jordan Farmar swiped with the Knicks down three and 4.2 seconds to go. Randolph - who had 11 points and 10 rebounds in the first half - was Thomas' biggest offseason acquisition and many thought he would team with Curry to form an imposing inside presence. But yesterday the Knicks allowed 26 points in the paint in the half and let the Lakers take an 18-point lead into intermission. Curry and Randolph each played 17 minutes in the half, but only three minutes and change in the second.</div> The Daily News
