An NBA source confirmed yesterday that the teams had talked but said there was no movement toward a deal. -- Philadelphia Inquirer # One trade that would work cap-wise is Miller and (who has four years counting this year and about $19 million left on his contract) for Drew Gooden, Cedric Simmons and Ira Newble. The way Miller is playing right now, that isn't enough. Ed Stefanski said it on the radio and confirmed to me last week that the Sixers will be about $6 million under the cap after the season if no moves are made. -- Philadelphia Inquirer # The Akron Beacon Journal reported that the Cleveland Cavaliers have contacted the Sixers about Andre Miller, but Sixers president/GM Eddie Stefanski said in an e-mail response that there was "nothing there." -- Philadelphia Daily News</div>
The 76ers could perhaps be the other Atlantic Division team the Cavs are talking to about Hughes. This could make it easier for the 76ers to possibly acquire Bryant once his contract runs out (not 100% sure on that one).
