Kwame Brown practiced Monday, but was not on the Lakers' list of active players Tuesday. He is almost recovered from sprains of his left knee and ankle, but he wasn't sound enough to run with the Suns on Tuesday.

"I wouldn't put Kwame out there in this game," Phil Jackson said. "He's not ready. I think it gave him a little idea (Monday) of how he's doing.

"He's doing some more individual things. We'll resume practice Thursday and get after it." -- Los Angeles Daily News</div>

    Isn't it Kwame?LOL

Hopefully Kwame could get back soon, I know it might sound dumb now that we have Bynum playing good, but Mihm has not been playing a lot because he looks horrible.Kwame good defense is needed at times.

Kwame has proven he is a bust, with the Lakers playing so well do you really want to risk changing something now?

He is a bust but we don't want Bynum getting tired or fatigue in the future.Kwame sucks at scoring but hes defense is sometimes good.

I'll take your word for it but I just don't see Kwame as a good player.

Kwame is not worth #1 pick but now that we have him, he has proven to be a good defender on the inside. I bet if Kwame was playing we would not have lost to Cavs (Varejao’s rebounds and hustle was the reason we lost that game).

the team seems to be flourishing without Kwame. just have him come off the bench for Bynum and just be a defense stopper.

There will be an adjustment period for Kwame and the rest of the team once he returns. We do need what Kwame brings to the court because of his size and strength. The Lakers don't have anyone on the roster to do what he does and Mihm has been shakey all season long.

Kwame is 6 more fouls for this team and share in the physical pounding Bynum endures.

More importantly he's a nice big trade piece come February when teams out of the race who want to shed cap are more willing to deal.
