Sorry guys...no time for pictures. <div align="center">New Jersey Nets (12-15) vs. Detroit Pistons (20-7)</div> <div align="center">December 26, 2007 at 7:30</div> <div align="center">Izod Center in New Jersey</div> Have the latest Nets victories been flukes? Do the Nets really have what it takes to compete against the best teams in the league? This game is very important for the Nets because they will get a change to see where they really are. Detroit is consistently good, whereas the Nets are inconsistent. They can win this game if they bring their A-game and Detroit brings its B-game. Prediction: 97-82. Nets won't be able to play well against Detroit's defense.
keep turning it over see if i care anymore this is rediculous they making antonio old pos mcdyess look like mcdyess from 96
Marcus seems to be progressing, he went from god awful to painful to watch, hey thats how Boone started. About Boone, he is playing without fear right now. I think that was the biggest problem in his game, he was intimated. I'm loving the RJ for VC and vice versa substitution, the Nets have a 20+ threat on the floor at all times this way.
The team is playing great ball except for that last 3 minutes of the quarter (what else is new). Sean Williams and Boone are a great duo, I love watching them play. Sean alters the shots and Boone scoops up the boards, great combo. You have to keep the Pistons off the boards, great job at doing that this game but not good enough. The Nets should have a 5 point lead right now if it wasn't for offensive rebounding. Some tick tack calls on the Nets while the Pistons are getting away with a lot of hacks on the other end, can't blame the refs though. Good game so far and I hope to god the Nets don't let up and come back with the same fire the next half.
notice how the Nets fall apart with Allen and Collins in at the same time? But then again, what else is new? Either way, close half, and besides some turnovers on us, we really could win this if we step it up a notch in the 2nd half.
So predictable, Detroit is a great defensive team though. The Nets come out of the locker room hoping the Pistons would give a half assed effort like they do.
