<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Looking to send a jolt through his slumping and slow-starting team, Orlando Magic coach Stan Van Gundy admitted Wednesday he is considering benching struggling point guard Jameer Nelson.
Van Gundy said he wasn't trying to point blame at any one player, but he feels the Magic's skid of seven losses in nine games can be traced back to Rashard Lewis' neck injury and Nelson's struggles.

"If you go back to the first 15 games, Jameer was playing very well, and it was key to us getting out of the gates as quickly as we did," Van Gundy said. "But he simply has not played to that level in the past three weeks, and that's a concern right now. You want to stick with guys as long as you can because player's performances will (sometimes) go up and down like his have, but he's got to get it going pretty quickly." -- Florida Today</div>

If this happens, I wouldn't expect it to last very long. Jameer is a young player, he's going to go through good streaks and bad streaks. I think he'll be fine, he's a hard worker and I'd expect him to get back on track soon.
