wow a little contraversial. No offense to Black people Of course but why do/did you find that word so offensive but now most Rappers say it in their lyrics?
I heard Nas was not allowed to use that title and was ordered to change it. I Guess not? Does anyone have an official source?
Oh yeah, I saw this the other day. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nigger_%28album%29 <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>L.A. Reid, chairman of Def Jam Records, has confirmed that Def Jam fully backs Nas and his decision on naming his album.[9] The album's title has received support from Jay-Z, Alicia Keys, LL Cool J, Rev Run, Common, Akon, Method Man, Lupe Fiasco, David Banner, and others. 50 Cent criticized Nas's choice of name for the album saying Nas is just going for "shock value" with the controversial album name.[10]</div> 50 Cent's a punk bitch. I support the album name. He's trying to make a statement and get people to notice...and I hope they do. 2 new songs: <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>* "The Fear (Of a Black Man's D***)" * "You a Nigger Too"</div> Nas is crazy, haha. He's one of the few artists with enough balls to do somethin like this.
I agree with what he's doing. Sure, there's a better an more educated way to approach the issue but Nas is hardheaded as is. He always has been. Dope ass cover too.
Can't wait for it to hit shelves. The experience of bringing that album to the register is gonna be fun.

If it's released with that cover they'll probably keep the CDs behind the counter and out of the public eye.
I'll go to Best Buy..."Oh hi, do you have that new N***** album?" Nope, not happening for a white guy like me.
One of the tracks is something along the lines of "Fear of a Black Man's Dick". Should be interesting. I think he'll come hard on it (no homo). If he's stirring up all this controversy and the album is wack, it will tarnish his credibility.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>I think he'll come hard on it (no homo).</div> I just can't. That is extremely hilarious.
Nas, the edumacated rapper. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Mr. J @ Jan 8 2008, 06:39 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>One of the tracks is something along the lines of "Fear of a Black Man's Dick". It's going to be hard to buy if they don't have it on shelves. Like Kidd said, I don't really want to ask for it. I'll get one of my friends to do it or I'll ask for the new Nas album.

I'll just go into HMV and say, "Excuse me can i have a copy of N****R"
I'm a bit skeptical. Everyone thought he was ready to shake the music industry with "Hip Hops is Dead," but I didn't find anything groundbreaking with that album. If anything, all that trash-talk and hype that it generated led me to believe he was just picking a sensitive issue because it was guaranteed album sales.
