    12/29 @ Utah
    12/30 @ LA Lakers

How will we do to finish up our first real west coast "test" of the year?

I think we can win both games but neither one is a sure thing. Perkins did a great job on Bynum in the first meeting and hopefully he can do it again because you're not gonna stop Kobe, you can contain him but not stop him.

I like us in the matchup with Utah. They're playing very poor basketball right now and I think personnel-wise we match up very well with them. I think KG can shut Boozer down and take him out of the game. Everybody remembers when Pierce made AK47** cry, right? No question on who wins that matchup. The PG matchup should be interesting too, but I think Deron Williams has the edge here. This should be a fun game to watch.

** - "Kirilenko's eyes started to tear in the locker room as he talked in a shaky voice about his frustrations and inability to stop Pierce. He played just four minutes in the final quarter because of his inept defense, but his small consolation was that none of his teammates could do any better."

I think we'll split the games this weekend. I don't know which one we're going to win or which one we're going to lose, but I have a feeling that we'll split. Utah is searching for redemption, but will also be playing us on the second night of a back-to-back. On the other hand, the Lakers are one of the hottest teams in the league right now behind Portland and us. Both should be close games.

It'll be fun, to say the least!

My friend kept telling me "As long as we split, I'll be happy." I, however, would love a ¾ of the games won.

Obviously I still think the Celtics will win all four, but I'll be happy with 75%.

I'm happy I was wrong. What a trip that was. Paul Pierce was nothing short of godly in every game. In Sacramento, he shut down Artest and hit some big 3's. The next night in Seattle, he put up 26 points in the second half. In Utah, he put up 24 points in the second half. Last night, he did everything well and torched LA in the 3rd quarter.

Paul Pierce is The Truth, and my new avatar is badass.
