They do that every game. They are in the "hurry up" offense, but they move in slow motion.

In this case, I think they were just thinking if they didn't get the onside kick, they weren't going to win no matter what, so they might as well just shorten the game.

It sure seems like the Patriots will have to really bring it to beat the Colts in the playoffs.

God, I would've preferred a simple blowout over that. Real heartbreaking. I though we were on the verge of pulling a remake of the '99 upset over the Broncos. I'm proud of the team for laying it out there and taking it to the Pats like that, but where's that been the last 4-5 weeks? I'm praying that this carries into the playoff game against the Bucs (and also that the O'Hara injury isn't serious).

These are the games that get me so excited about Eli (only to go through a roller coaster ride the rest of the season). He's got great poise and when the running game is working, and teams are biting on the play action, he's always making timely completions. I wish we could get him a better O-coordinator (Huffnagel and Gilbride are both terrible) and I think he'd benefit a lot from a no-huddle offense. He's no Peyton, but he does show excellent recognition before the snap and during audibles.

I hate our secondary with a passion, though. Aside from Aaron Ross and Sam Madison, every player is expendable. I fail to understand how we could leave Moss so open on two consecutive (identical) passing plays. James Butler has been a liability all season long and angried up the blood on that last play.

I'm still proud to say that my Ravens were the closest team to almost beat them.

Yeah, it does seem like these are good times to be from there, huh? Congrats on your Pats!

When Moss caught his first touchdown of the game, he was clearly pushing off on the defender in the end zone. They didn't call any pass interference on him, even though he was doing it while the ball was in the air. That and the non-call on Wilfork made me furious.

They also called a personal foul on Amani Toomer for standing there picking his ass.

There were bad calls that went the Patriots way, but that seems like the norm for the season....the Patriots got over in the end, they did enough to win, and they stayed undefeated and no one can take that from them now....

They didn't even call that penalty on Toomer. It was against the kicking team..the Patriots. The ref just made an error and the announcers are idiots so they started talking about how it was Toomer.

They made a mistake when they said it was on the Patriots....they did change it and penalize the Giants....it was a top-5 all time bullshit call....

Good effort Giants, that was a very inspired effort.

At least my dream of seeing the biggest playoff chokejob in the History of the NFL is still alive. Don't feel bad about anything Chutney.

I don't get how Dolphins fans can even talk. Your team won 1 game.

So because my team had a bad year I can't talk? You want to know what part of the Patriots success you had a hand in? Absolutely NONE!....don't think for even a second that you had anything to do with what they did, or that you have something intelligent to add to this conversation because guys you attached yourself to had a remarkable season....the title of the thread says it all: Congrats to the Patriots players! You've done nothing, and no one cares to here about your nothing....
