ESPN's Chris Mortensen is reporting that Mike Martz will be fired as the O-Co for the Detroit Lions....Its about time....Martz's throw 1st, throw 2nd philosophy does not work in this league....he would be a great college coach though....
They are replacing MM w/ Kippy Brown who was Wr coach w/ the phins as well as Lions. I believe he was an interim OC in Miami and that worked out well.

And, if you keep drafting WR's high in the draft, dont you want a guy to throw first, throw 2nd, throw 3rd? I mean our playmakers are WR and we need to get the ball to the playmakers!
