I think they can but i certainly don't want them to. I like Tom brady and all but no team should be greater than the 1972 dolphins except for my Denver Broncos of course. I think teams like the Colts, Packers and Cowboys could beat the Pats in the playoffs.
They will be tested like no team in recent history....I think their style leaves them vulnerable to a team that can run it and rush the passer, but someone needs to play out of their minds to get it done....If Brady gets hurt, they go right down the toilet as well....My gut feeling is that they are going to get upset by the Chargers but I won't be surprised if they win every game by 10 points....
I have a feeling the Chargers will choke again. Regardless, they'd play the lowest seed still remaining which will be Jacksonville. If ever there were a team designed to play in Foxboro in January, its the Jags. After all, it was Jville who knocked off Denver yrs ago when the Donkeys were getting all the hype and admiration from the media. To answer the question, No! The Pats won't win it all!
I've said this before, but I'll say it again. This may be the most talented Patriots offense, but it may not be the Patriots offense best suited to play in New England during January. Don't forget the Jets @ Patriots game. Brady only threw for about 150 yards. Maroney hasn't proven to me that he can step up and produce on a regular basis. So, while the Patriots have earned the right to be considered the front runners, I do believe that there are several teams that could beat them, especially in a bad weather game in Foxboro.
Jacksonville/SD AFC championship game. Peyton Manning is Cromartie's bitch. The chargers own the Colts, we've beat them what...5 times in a row now? New England is very beatable, IMO. If Jacksonville can get by Pittsburgh, and I think they will, they've got a great chance against the Patriots because they've got a very tough defense, a good QB who can manage the game and protect the ball, and two very good RB's. New England has shown this year that one of their weaknesses is stopping the run. If it's frigid out and Brady can't throw the ball, that game can go any way.

Cromartie is in his second season, didn't get an int as a rookie, so he has one good game against Peyton Manning and he owns Manning? I hardly think so. I like Cromartie and have been impressed with him this year, but he does not own Peyton Manning by any stretch of the imagination.

Cromartie has a nice one handed interception, but Manning is playing much better than the week after he lost to the Pats. The recievers in that game were at fault for turnovers as well, and Aaron Moorehead doesn't play anymore for Indy this season which is a huge upgrade. If the Chargers don't choke against the Titans, I would be more than happy to see them against the Colts instead of the Steelers or Jags. The Colts are aruguably undefeated with Marvin Harrison, so they even have upside. In fact, just with Anthony Gonzalez in the game would give Manning more weapons than he had in NE/SD (since Gonzo dislocated his finger the first play of the game against NE).
I don't think they will because of all the pressure and as mentioned the pass-happy offense in January in Foxboro. There's only four teams I'm afraid of between now and the Super Bowl. Jacksonville, Indianapolis, Green Bay and Dallas. I don't think the Patriots will win the super bowl because 19-0 is so difficult but I really really hope they do. Laurence Maroney is the key to any success the Patriots have in January.
