I would say theres an 80% chance that McFadden is available to them and is passed on....

Who else would they take other than McFadden? Long is a possible, but I think St. Louis might take him. Ryan is to far of a reach.

They could trade down for extra picks, and then take Matt Ryan or Andre Woodson.

The Falcons are built like a running team so McFadden is the proper choice here.

louis has Leonard and Jackson, and Dolphins have Brown who i think would of been the rushing leader if it wasnt for the injury, so unless Brown is bad i thnik he will drop (if he DECLARES.)

The Falcons still have Dunn & Norwood.

I think Redman could work out for them @ QB.

Defense has been a soft spot and Brooking is getting up there. So, what about Laurinitis from Ohio St?

edit: Falcons are in a 3 way tie with Oakland and KC. Apparently will be determined Monday.

As for Redman at QB for them. He's not the answer at all.

Dunn is older, and Norwood seemingly is just a 3rd down back/change up guy. Not starter material.

I have no idea what direction the Falcons would go, but RB doesnt seem like a big need for them....maybe they just decide hes the best player on the board and pick him anyway, but I expect them to take a QB....

Dunn isn't very young, and I don't think he wants to be in a rebuilding team at this point of his career so he might not want to stick around.

Falcons need a lot. And RB is one of them. Not to mention, they need to make a move that generates a buzz after all the stuff they've gone through with whole Vick incident, Petrino stuff, and now Parcells. Need something that the fans can get excited about it. Only McFadden can provide this, IMO.

If the team takes "buzz" into consideration in anyway when deciding who to draft, they are already lost....RBs are just too expendable to take this high unless you have a conviction that hes truely a special player....If you think hes going to be the next Tomlinson, pick the man....if you think hes anything less, take a more valuable position....

Ironically, they could have had LT! [IMG]
