I don't know exactly where the Miami Hearld is getting info on Parcell's discussions with Wayne H., but if they are right, it's an interesting take on the inner workings of a football organization.

I would have a real problem w/ both Mueller & Cam being fired.

Starting over again for the 3rd time in 4 yrs is absolutely worthy of the NFL equivalent of the Noble Prize and Mensa Membership all wrapped up in one tidy little package.

After Cam & Randy did acquire 3 starters in the 07 draft and hopefully a successor to Dan the Man & a legit threat @ WR.

It's official; Mueller is gone. Maybe, he can take Tuna's gig @ ESPN?

Cam should not fired. The phins staff is expected to coach one team in the Senior Bowl on 1/26. Parcells may be a miracle worker but there is no way IMO he can have a new staff in place by then.

i wasn't sure how Cameron got a HC gig in the first place. He sucked as a HC in college, and hell I could be a good OC if I had LT and Gates in my offense.

I have mixed feelings about Cameron and Mueller. I don't think they are totally to blame, but if Parcells is determined to put his men in, I'd rather he would do it now than a year or two from now.

I agree that it s/b sooner rather than later.

However, change just for the sake of change every few years is the same recipe used by the Arizona Cardinals... need I say more?

According to an AP article, in Today's Salt Lake Tribune, Jeff Ireland (Cowboys VP of College & Pro scouting) is flying to S Florida & is allegedly the front runner for phins GM.

I also don't think you can pin all the blame on those 2, but I can see why Parcells would be quick to bring his own people in. The man's built excellent football contacts over the years and, while Muller/Cameron may not be bad, he probably has candidates in mind who are much better.
