The right ankle Chris Mihm had reconstructive surgery on a year ago is not responding the way he had hoped, and because of that, Mihm hasn't been able to play much for the Lakers.

"I'm struggling with the pain," Mihm said. "I'm able to run straight ahead and run backwards, but my lateral movement is not there."

"I understand why I'm not getting the minutes," Mihm said. "My doctor tells me I have to be patient. I haven't played (much) for over a year, and it's going to take time for me to get it back." -- Riverside Press-Enterprise</div>

He's obviously not right and the Lakers need to fill the void by signing another big man. Power forward is still a weakness for our squad.

I'd love to get PJ Brown if he were interested. We still have the 2.5M exception to spend from the Cook/Ariza deal.

I think it's time for him to retire.
