Im gonna say Calderon as well, if you watch him play he plays within control, distributes the ball well and knows when to take his own shots. Ever since Ford got injured Calderon stepped up big time almost averaging a double-double as a starter, I only have a couple of negative critics of him though is that he sometimes needs to be more selfish because hes a great shooter and I would like to see him be a little bit more aggressive driving rather then step out of the paint. Andre Miller is another player who I would consider underrated, he fills the stat sheet every single night and is a true point guard...his jumpshot however is questionable at times.
Jose Calderon - I'm not sure he is underrated anymore Rafer Alston - Overrated Rajon Rondo - On the verge of getting overrated Andre Miller - Overrated Jason Terry - Not a PG

Alston is not overrated because he's not even rated. Andre Miller is not overrated because he is hardly being looked when he is a potential All-Star. Rondo is not overrated because he still is not getting the attention he deserves. Calderon is hardly rated so he's clearly underrated.

Calderon is not underrated anymore, he is given props as much as anyone in the league. Devin Harris, thats it.
Andre Miller isn't even a potential All Star in the WNBA. Now the D League, I'm sure he could be an All Star there. Alston is a starting PG in the NBA which is far, far overrated for his talent. Calderon and Rondo are getting tons of media attention.

I won't hold it against you for disliking Luke. Duhon's a good team leader, a good passer, and a good defender. You're just proving to me he's underrated And AJ is a big reason for the Hawks having a winning record this year. Look at his game log. When he plays 30+ minutes, the Hawks get a win (that's 9 games). Coincidence? Hm.

Ridnour can't defend my mother stationary in a chair, and Mo Williams is completely incapable of running an offense. I would say Lindsey Hunter is one of the most underrated guards in the league, and has been for a long time. He may very well be THE best on-ball defender in the NBA, and he can hit the spot-up 3. Don't be fooled by the limited minutes he plays - he is a weapon.

I would agree hunter is underrated but underrated in the past not right now. He's a great defensive player he is great on the full-court press which is what i like about him.

Wasn't thinking about his capabilities of running an offense...but with the right team, such as maybe the Cavs..?, he'd be a great contributor. And I overrate Ridnour

And I overrate Ridnour </div> Yes, I agree with that 100% about Mo. Put him on a team where he doesn't have to run the offense - such as Cleveland - he'd be golden. LeBron is the ball handler and the playmaker in Cleveland. What are they missing? A guard that can stretch the floor and shoot the ball. Miami, same deal. Had he opted to take a paycut and play in Miami, I think Wade would make him look much better and I think some of his faults would be covered up.
It's hard to find an underrated PG since so few of them can run an offense and the ones who can are generally not underrated. I will say Antonio Daniels Steve Blake Anthony Carter All very good players, none are overly hyped.
Rondo is playing next to three perennial all-stars. He has no choice but to look good. And his stats aren't even that impressive: 9.6/4/5.4. He has a good A/T ratio though. Ridnour is underrated in the league's worst PG's list. He should be getting much more heat: 6 points, 3 assists coming from a 26 year old former lottery pick with "Stockton-esque" PG abilities. There's no one in the NBA who's particularly underrated. Maybe Paul Milsap?
