Definitely. DA looked comfortable out there, on his home court [IMG]

Runner-ups: Vince Carter, Jason Collins, Boki Nachbar

Jason Collins' one shot at getting the POTG this year is shot down by the play of DA.

DA by far. comes in and shoots 6/7 for 13 points? not just any 13 pts, but HUGE CLUTCH points. not to mentioned he played GREAT defense on arroyo/nelson. they were out of sync before they even started their set, with time already off the shotclock before even approaching the 3 point line. gj DA!

Jason Collins and Boki Nachbar both had outstanding games as well. Boki played with a lot of spirit and grit. Collins looked like the rest he's been getting agrees with him.

Kidd was awesome in the 4th quarter, RJ had a HUGE block on Howard at the end of the game and took it strong to the hoop all night, and Vince showed up at the end and played well late.

Even some praise for Malik Allen, who looked confident and poised on the offensive end (but still played no defense and was outmatched on the boards).

    lol seriously.

Did anyone catch JC's post game speech? He names all the bench guys who stepped up except for himself, and then once complimented outright for his modesty he smiled and said it was a team game. I think Jason Collins sucks, but he does some things well, and an affectionate part of me would like to see him remain in a Nets uniform for the vets minimum after his contract is up.

Hey. If you limit his minutes and only use him when absolutely necessary he doesn't look half bad!

More DNP-CDs and more single digit minute games for him.

Then bring him out on the second half of back-to-backs and against teams who have good post players with limited range.

That's the role he should have had his whole career.

Collins was HUGE. The 10 points were great, but he totally took Howard out of the game.

Howard's supposed to be the MVP of the league, and he didn't do jack shit for the last 8 minutes. It's frustrating we're paying him so much, but he might be the best defender in the league against elite post players.
