D. Armstrong made me smile many times throughout the course of the game tonight. Very big win for the team though, and is it just me or is anybody else's favorite part of all these recent tight games seeing the bench reaction?? I love the energy all the guys seem to be showing.
Not only is this good for this win but he just took Marcus' spot on the rotation. I'm hoping this will push Marcus to keep working hard, I'm not giving up on him.
this is the DA i saw in Indy last year that made me wish he was on the nets. i hope we sign DA as an assistant coach after this year
been a fan of DA since we signed him...just the energy he has when he's "on the bench" , and I say that in quotes because he's NEVER sitting...he's always up shouting just like Frank. Seeing him into it when he's on the court makes me enjoy him even more. His love and passion of the sport really is great and makes me feel great to be such a fan of the sport.
i loved even the thought of getting him in the summer. when i heard Dallas wanted him too i was pissed because i thought he would go with them to try and get a ring before he hangs it up. thankfully he proved me wrong and came here. i love the guy because of his passion and professionalism. the guy is the best cheerleader i've ever seen and that is not a dis. the guy is either kneeling or bending over by the bench yelling out supportive words to his team. there is not one thing i dont like about this guy. i didnt want him here for scoring or any stats, just to keep the team on track and i wanted him to mentor marcus. i would love for a guy like this to stay in our organization for a while. whether its on the bench in a jersey or a suit.

I think you've got to reward DA's play tonight, but at the same time if Marcus makes the most of his smaller minutes he should be given more time down the line.
If he plays full court defense like he did tonight - even if he doesn't make a shot - he could completely turn the Nets' season around.
One thing I'll say about Marcus tonight and over the past few games he's been active: even though he's been losing minutes to DA, he's been smiling a whole lot more than he was last year. Good sign as he's not pouting about not getting minutes. Hopefully that's DA's smile rubbing off on him.

Pressuring the ball, and making the right decisions on offense will get you minutes, and he should be aiming for that.
