Anyone else sort of just forgotten about him? Hopefully, he'll get it going again like he did in the first couple games, but I'm enjoying the increased PT for Boki right now.
I've missed his defense; not so much his offense because as you've said Boki is starting to score double figures consistently. Plus I was excited about the idea of him starting to come into his own, and now he's had to take a couple of steps back with that regard.
To be honest, at times I have completely forgot about him. As long as we're winning I really don't mind him being out at this point. Eventually we'll need his D back, because most of us don't want Kidd having to hold guys like Kobe and Lebron late in the game. Disadvantage right there.
Good for depth, as DA, VC and RJ will need some blows as the season runs along. Wright's going to need to earn his minutes again.

That Orlando game, I caught myself thinking 'Toine would have been a good option on Hedo. He doesn't match Hedo's size, but he's a persistent and skilled defender and would have relieved some of the defensive pressure off of RJ/Kidd/Vince...chasing guys around the court is hard work. He would have been a go to option on defense against Redd and Butler as well in the Bucks and Wizards games respectively. While Boki has a more complete offensive game, Boki is a sub-par defender (surprising, given his length)...it's nice to have the option of mixing it up with Boki/Toine depending on who the team is playing and the specific situations. There is a definitely a place for 'Toine in this league...he just needs to keep working on his offensive game.
Kidd and Carter are playing 37 and 38 minutes a game, respectively. Wright needs to get back in there so that those guys don't run out of gas before the all-star break, let alone the playoffs.

The team's got a whole new dynamic with the Boone-Williams starting frontcourt, and I'm very interested to see how Wright plays into that. Down the line, a Kidd/DA, Wright, RJ/Carter/Nachbar, Collins, Krstic second unit could be very interesting and very effective. I just hope Frank realizes that Nenad makes WAY more sense coming off the bench.
Look at JRich yesterday, no one was blocking him out of the paint or contesting his shots. Most of those jumpers were open looks.
