Look at how productive Biedrins is right now and his great attitude even though he gets yanked around like a yo-yo. I am most impressed with the way he makes plays in the lane late in the game. He knows his shot is the lefty hook and he takes it and makes it off the glass in clutch situations. Last night, he even got the ball in the lane then passed it to a cutting Monta for a layup. Great play. I hope we never let him go.

Biedrins has the highest FG% in the NBA (64.3%!) and he's only playing 28 minutes a game, that's just crazy. Maybe he can't play 45 but I think his stats would suggest something more like 34+. He's also #6 in the NBA in Rebounds Per 48 Minutes.
It must be frustrating for Biedrins to run down the court and watch one of the perimeter players chuck a low percentage fadeaway 3 pointer and then have to run back the other way to play defense. Unfortunately, Nellie's system has never been big man friendly unless the big man could shoot 3's. To Biedrins credit he does seem to accept his role on the team and is willing to sacrifice his scoring and shot attempts to focus on other areas of the game to help the team win. Chris Mullin has his work cut out for him during negotiations. Not many big men are willing to do the little things unless they get their fair share of chances on offense.
Nelly is killing any potential for our anchors in the paint to develop. I don't care about win totals anymore, when we lose we look so bad. It's not even funny. At least let there be a good loss where we can argue that the team played well, but the shots weren't going down. No, instead we get warriors tossing up horrible shots on goal and the guys not even playing like a team anymore. It's like guys forgot about moving off the ball and feeding the ball inside and playing defense that gives big men a chance to rebound. What happens when/if we get to the playoffs with our stellar record and we get beaten by the team that just beats us badly like the way Dallas and New Orleans have. It's like what we did with Dallas last year. If we don't match up well and we don't have an answer for most teams that we'll be facing in the playoffs, we ain't getting any closer to that championship. We have to have a more balanced solution and I don't think Nelson has ever been about balance. That's why he has no rings despite having had two MVPs on his team. He doesn't play centers and he doesn't value any kind of post game except for running it through his smaller guys.
