Cesc Fabregas admits it is an 'incredible compliment' to be wanted by Real Madrid, but insists his aim is to win the Premier League with Arsenal.

The Spanish midfielder has been a long-term target for Real president Ramon Calderon, but has repeatedly stressed his commitment to the Gunners.

He has again been asked whether he will be the subject of a renewed bid from Real at the end of the season.

Fabregas is unaware of any impending offer and outlined his wish to help Arsenal retain their lead at the top of the Premier League.

"I do not know," Fabregas told AS when asked if he will be targeted by Real in the summer. "We are in January and I do not know anything.

"The whole world knows that it makes me happy that a team like Madrid wants you. It is an incredible compliment.

"Now I am at Arsenal and I want to win the Premiership."

When asked if wearing the Real shirt would be a burden to shoulder, Fabregas replied: "I suppose that it has to weigh.

"It is the biggest club in the world and it is clear that there will be some pressure.

"But in this game I feel very calm and for me that is essential. That is invaluable. I enjoy playing."

I don't like that one bit... That means when Arsenal win the Premier League, he may leave us.

possibly but i think if he were to leave he'd do an Henry and go as a swan song. Just to do what he has always wanted to. But towards the end of his career

that was certainly not a solid comment made by fabregas and I´m sure RM and Barca will take advantage of that comment to keep luring him to their respective clubs, but he has made comments before about repaying wengers trust in him, so perhaps he wont leave so early, he´s way too young, I would love for him to stay 4 life, but if he ever did, it would be nice if he could devote most of his career at arsenal like Henry.

Cesc will leave for Real if Arsenal win or even lose a close race with ManU LOL

As will Benzema when he wins the French league with Lyon

Actually knowing wenger, he won´t get benzema, he going to be too expensive, they´re going to want 20 Mill + for him and wenger is not a fan of spending, so he will just develop someone else instead.

yeh true but thats because Wenger always beleived in buying 3-4 players with his budget but this year he has millions to spend so you never know. Also maybe Nasri?

I have a question, what club is Sergio Aguero at? [Atletico]

And why is he rated so highly on FM?

And why don't Arsenal get him, or any other big team?
