Even after watching the replays they determine "no basket"? That's a bad call. Like Jason Kidd would say, their "three blind mice". I could understand making a mistake if they didn't look at a replay, but that is just silly. So, what happens now? I remember a season ago ( or was it two?) that a ref was suspended for costing the Denver Nuggets a game. Should the same be done here? <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>He was still touching the ball when it hit 0.</div> Didn't look like it to me.

I froze it frame by frame, and he was still clearly touching the ball when the clock hits zero, and had a finger on the ball as the red light came on.
This was a legit shot and the refs did rob the Magic of the game. I looked at it 9 or 10 times. He got it off in time.

Yeh it is too fuzzy. Isn't there a decent quality video. Not just someone recording something on their TV on their phone lol.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Kid Chocolate @ Jan 5 2008, 05:00 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>If it's too fuzzy how can you be so sure he got it off?</div> Because while the video is in motion, for the most part, the fuzziness clears up. lol...fuzziness.
The video quality isn't very good. I saw the replay on ESPN yesterday, and it looked like he got it off in time. The analysts were all saying it was a good shot too
on the NBATV recap they said that the consensus in their newsroom was that the call was correct, not like that matters.
regardless, it was suuuuuuuuuch a close call, i can't see how you can say something like "something needs to be done about the refs"

Listen, in the video, he says: "The consensus in our newsroom is that they got the call right." (just like KC said)
