The way they presented it on ESPN made it seem like an obvious no call, but I guess your right, it's was a close call either way

I haven't watched any of the videos, but I have to ask this. When is the last time you thought any of the people working NBA coverage for ESPN had a clue?

Never. But when I saw the replay, I thought it was good too. KC's screenshot tells a different story though

I actually took a screen shot myself before I saw that KC already did it.

remember, the game is over when the clock hits 0.0, not when the lights go on, and the lights went on a split second after the clock hit 0.0.

Even so, in Thrilla and my screenshots, the red light is on and he's still touching the ball.

Something should be done about the refs...like they should receive an award of some kind for making such a great call.

I can't tell, IMO they should have given it to Orlando.

Have the teams settle it in OT.

I'm sure they would have done that if the replay they saw wasn't conclusive. Imagine the screen shots we posted on a HD monitor. I think they had conclusive evidence or they would have done the safe thing and sent it into OT.

My buddy tells me they reviewed the tape for a long time. He said they went into 2 commercial breaks because they were taking so long. I doubt they would have taken that long if it was inconclusive.

Tonight, in the New Jersey game, that dunk by Boone near the end of the game shouldn't have counted. Thank god it did...but that ball did not leave his hands before the shot clock buzzer went off.
