Jason Kidd recorded triple-doubles in the Nets’ wins over the Bobcats and Hawks on Friday and Saturday. He is looking to record a triple-double in three straight games for the first time in his career, something only Grant Hill (April 11-14, 1997) has accomplished among active players.

I remember Bob Sura pulled a Ricky Davis looking to get his third straight triple double. It's good to know they took away that rebound.

It's not impossible for Kidd to get it, but I have my doubts.

I think he has a real, real good shot to get it. He's been playing out of his mind lately. I think he'll definitely come close.

Kidd with 3 meaningful games in a row, I wonder when the last time that happened?

Kidd's never really been focused on stats. If he were he'd probably have at least 20 more triple doubles.....and probably 20 fewer W's to show for it. But if he were 1 board shy of it, I'm sure Frank will send Collins in and tell him to block out.

Haha, why do you assume it's boards? He's like the rare NBA PG have has issues w/ the points part.

....hahaha, true, he could have had 3 triple doubles already too. He was 2 assists short against Orlando.

im surprised hes never done it before. i think he has a great shot vs the bobcats tonight. as long as we win, its all good. i mean it would still be a nice accomplishment for him to get it win or no win, but we need wins more than triple doubles. i know kidd wont put himself before the team.

with just playing the bobcats i think our guys have a better feel, obviously, for the style of play and the players they have. i think winning the first game of these 2 will give us confidence to really come out strong against the cats. then again we never ever come out strong, but we are on the road so who knows. but i think he should have an easier time with them this time around even though they have quick players and there is the emeka factor. he didnt really show up at the izod, if he did they could have won. i doubt he plays the same way tonight. im sure we will see more collins tonight since im assumin emeka will have a nice game

He’ll get a chance to do it tonight in Charlotte, and he has brought his mustache, which NBA.com, the Sez and the American Mustache Institute have all taken note of, along with him.</div>

That 'stache is just too funny. I don't understand how you decide one day that it looks good. But you know what, as long as he keeps playing well, keep it.

well i think he said he kept it to make the guys laugh to have fun. i dont think its a look he loves considering he never has a stache. the team is having fun with it, the media is having fun with it and the fans are having fun with it. jason is having fun with it too. who knows, maybe the rest of the guys will follow..now that would be funny to see
