<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>MONTERREY, Mexico (AFP) - A 10-year-old Mexican boy glued his hand to his bed to avoid going back to school after the Christmas break, authorities said Monday. "I thought if I was glued to the bed, they couldn't make me go to school," the boy, Diego, told AFP. "I didn't want to go, the holidays were so much fun." "I remembered my mom had bought a very strong glue," he said of the industrial strength shoe glue he used to stick his hand to the bed's metal headboard, where he stayed stuck for two hours. His mother Sandra Palacios was unable to free him and called paramedics and police to help. Diego watched cartoons while they worked to unglue him, eventually using a spray to dissolve the chemical adhesive. "I don't know why this happened. He is a very good boy," said his mother. Diego eventually made it school a few hours late.</div> Source: Yahoo News
Unless I cut, it's nearly impossible for me to miss school. My mom is way to strict when it comes to education. Sometimes I pretend to be sick, and once in a blue moon it works.
I have a balls easy semester, its be more annoying to miss school then to go, weird i know. I always fake throwing up, thats the worse i've EVER done
The last time I pretended to be sick and miss school was last May. I had a test on this book on Friday, and I had yet to read any of it, so I faked sick on Thursday to spend the day reading the book. I don't really like missing school unless I have to though. You can fall behind real easily and be screwed big time before you know it.
Funny enough, I was trying to stay home today. It didn't work, and I was pretty angry throughout the school day.
I said I was going to school then I went to a friends house. I do it all the time. The absolute WORST things I've ever done to miss school was I woke up and turned the hair dryer on, so it made my forehead warm, then I told my parents that I had a severe case of blue balls and I got to stay home.
I ditch school and go with my GF to the Mall or the Movies, its hard to miss school with my parents telling me to go everyday so I just ditch.
I just skip school when I really feel like it, no biggie. The thing is, though, I never really wanted to skip school more than ~3 times a year.
For those in high school, why not just cut? Just try not to get caught by truancy. I remember a couple of my friends invited me to cut with them and a part of me wanted to go, but something told me not to. Anyway, these clowns got caught by truancy and one went to military school since he had an extensive list of being caught.
When I used to fake sick, my mom would also ask to prove it if I had told her I puked. Either show her or let her smell my breath. See, after failing more than once, I knew I had to take it to the next extreme. I decided to shove a ton of bread in my mouth, swish it around, spit it out in the toilet, and making puking noises to get her attention. She'd see it, think it was puke, and I got to skip school that day. I pretty much consider myself a genius for that stunt.
I would pretend I was sick just before I went to bed(Made sure they saw me coughing or sneezing) so that the next day I would just tell my parents that I wasnt feeling well and it worked like a charm frequently.
I've never Skipped a whole day just lessons. You know the sort of stuff. Fake notes such as Max has Dentist at 11:30 and won't be able to return for the day. That kinda crap
In high school I skipped LOADS of class. Went off and rolled joints, went for a surf, went for a skate... or just went to get waffles instead of going to english. I used to finish on mondays and thursday at 10:40 in my senior year... pretty slack. I still got the marks to go to uni though and ended up doing Botany till I got bored. Im going back in '09 to do business management. Ill be a 25yo freshman... hahahaha

I had fake sick days in high school where I'd just stay home and play video games or watch movies. In college I just leave when I'm bored like today.
