While Voodoo has the All-Star game thread going, I figured I'd create a separate one for all the extra activities. Who do you want to see, or think deserve to be, in the festivities?

    Rookie Team
    C: Al Horford
    F: Sean Williams
    F: Yi Jianlian
    G: Kevin Durant
    G: JC Navarro
    --------------------
    F: Jeff Green
    F: Jamario Moon
G: Mike Conley (assuming he keeps his play up)
    G: Daequan Cook

    Sophomore Team
    C: LaMarcus Aldridge
    F: Paul Millsap
    F: Rudy Gay
    G: Brandon Roy
    G: Rajon Rondo
    --------------------
    F: Andrea Bargnani
    F: Craig Smith
    G: Ronnie Brewer
    G: Kyle Lowry

Slam Dunk Contest (< 3 years of experience)
    Gerald Green (2007 winner)
    Rudy Gay
    Monta Ellis
    Jamario Moon

    3-Point Shootout
    Jason Kapono (2007 winner)
    James Jones
    Jason Richardson
    Hedo Turkoglu
    Daniel Gibson
    Eddie House

    Skills Challenge
    Dwyane Wade (2007 winner)
    Chris Paul
    Deron Williams
    Jose Calderon

I'm not sure which cities they'll do for the shooting stars, but hey, we need to do a Boston one. [IMG]

Rudy Gay vs. Gerald Green would be cool to see.

And about the guys in the 3pt shooting contest - I seriously didn't even realize they were shooting so good this season from 3. The only headscratcher is Eddie House, and putting Hedo up there without Rashard (who made more 3's and at a better percentage).

I'd say...replace House with Anthony Parker, Mike Miller, or Rashard Lewis.

if AP isn't in the 3 point contest its useless imo, 2nd highest % of a guy shhooting more then 100 3's (.487)

    House? really

besides that its an excellent list

I'd love to see Eddie House in there. He is one of the better shooters in the league, always has been. I think he'd be great in the 3-point shootout setting, though. He's got an extremely quick release and he's a pretty fast runner. He's finish all the racks no problem, and he wouldn't have to rush.

I completely forgot about Anthony Parker, however.

Wouldn't LeBron enter the Skills Challenge again?

Having Horford on the rookie team is almost cheating.

Luckily the sophomore team has Roy.

I think Moon will start, no bias. He has played better then Yi, IMO. As for the dunk contest, gotta have Nick Young man. Monta Ellis, take him out. I'm telling you right now, if Nick Young enters, it will be entertaining.

I agree with everything except Nick Young. Haven't really seen him play much, haven't seen much of his dunks...but Ellis doesn't make all that much sense.
