NBA teams ready to play 'Let's Make a Deal' Marcus and Wright for Bell? Three team trade with Golden St getting Wright and Williams, Nets get Bell, Bucks get Pietrus?
ghoti you better email Rod Thorn promptly! Except I don't know if he'll listen since he didn't listen to Dumpy. But who knows, maybe he'll like Charlie more than Bobby.
Think about this for a minute. Wright is 23, Marcus is 22 and Charlie Bell will be 30 next season. Not saying they are better than Bell but Wright and Marcus still have a lot of room to grow and no one can deny that, they are still young.

Geez... didn't think the age card would be pulled out on a 28 year old. The move is only good if you think the potential upside of Marcus and Antoine are a myth and their value is at it's highest now due to the myth still being alive, which I do. You wait to long and there is no value there. Plus Antoine is a free agent after the season. Getting Bell for those to is the type of move you make when you want to win now. Still have plenty of youth wth Sean 21, Boone 23, Nenad 24, Boki and RJ 27. Bell can back-up the point and play SG. He's Boki insurance in the offseason too. When healthy, a bench of Bell, Nenad, Boki, Collins, and Armstrong is really good. Has defense, scoring and 3pt shooting. Milwaukee would not take Magloire for Bell. They want a wing with defense (Wright) and without Bell they would also need a back-up PG too (Williams).
Marcus for Bell? Yes, and I would even throw in Magloire or a second round pick. Wright for Bell? Meh.....Idk. I'll get back to this because I dont know how Bell is playing this season. Magloire for Bell(HELL ****ing YES!) Marcus and Wright? No.

I like Bell but adding him will not result in a championship. I'm looking towards the future and Marcus is more appealing at this point then Bell. I guess it depends on how you look at it. Some people like Marcus and some don't. Some people think this team can go past the 2nd round and some don't.
You guys do know Charlie Bell has been horrible this season right? He is shooting 33%, and shooting 25% on three pointers. He is only averaging 5 points per game and 3 assists. Why would you give up two young players for him? His contract doesn't run out until 2011/2012, by then he will probably be 32 or 33 years old

Some coaches just don't fit some players. Don't forget he didn't want to re-sign there. He was restricted and they matched the offer. He's probably just unhappy there. All players are a risk. However, he's proven he can be productive in the NBA while neither Marcus or Wright have, yet. Could they? Sure. I'm not adverse to keeping those two. I just like this move and think it will give a good result. And the contract is small in NBA standards. It's movable in the future.
However with him having a poor season, we have the advantage in the dealing, mean we dont have to sacrifice so much.
"The prime candidates to be dealt are Andre Miller, Sam Dalembert, and Rodney Carney. Miller has been on the Cavs’ radar screen, and as a mediocre defender with $10 million coming to him next season, Miller should only be a consideration if the Knicks somehow can put together some semblance of a run at the eighth playoff spot by mid-February. Fat chance; they’re already eight back in the loss column, so Miller isn’t the answer. Dalembert is intriguing from the standpoint that Stefanski is looking to clear cap space, and his defense and shot blocking would be the ideal complement to either Zach Randolph or Eddy Curry." - Ken Berger How about Magloire and Wright for Samuel Dalembert. I'm not sure about the salaries. I don't have the time to check because I'm late for work. But if Stefanski's dumping then two expiring contracts should help. Dalembert is a beast. Having him inside should bring us closer to being contenders.

Remember that Steve Blake but up horrible numbers for the Bucks last year before being traded to Denver.

Also you will have free agents like Anthony Johnson that you can sign up for a year. After watching Wright again I know you need to make a move like this. There is a huge hole at the wing spot off the bench and Bell fills that and back-up PG. If you aren't going to do something like this you might as well blow it up. Need this and someone that can teach the team how to shoot FREE THROWS!!
