9-24 free throw line! Are you freak'n kidding me?

Brick! Brick! Brick! Brick! Brick! Brick!

Especially in the 4th quarter. I mean it was not like they weren't getting looks either. This was such an obvious hole on the Nets coming into the season and Thorn hasn't done anything to try and fix it yet. They can't go into the playoffs (if they make it) with this kind of shooting.

This is a case where the Nets gave the best team in the league a good game.

It's something to build on but you know this team, they could very well lose the Nets 5 games playing uninspired.

The Nets had like a 3 million dollar trade exception which they let expire. That sure could have come in handy to get a shooter or two. Now they still have Magloire's expiring contract to use in a trade. Thorn better find some freak'n shooter.

You know, I like the idea the Raptors have with their PG duo in Ford and Calderon. Instead of having a star type PG they use two very good PG's who can give similar production and have similar skills and their combined output is something that rivals the best PG's in the game. Thorn should look to take the same approach with the Nets front court. Sean and Boone should man the 4 spot and Krstic with another player with similar skills like a Brad Miller should play center. Then they get another shooter at the backup wing position and the Nets would have something close to a balanced, talented roster.

    Kidd - M.Williams - Armstrong
    Carter - shooter - Wright
    Jefferson - Nachbar
    S.Williams - Boone
    Miller - Krstic

That's the kind of line up I hope to see going into the playoffs.

I don't care when Kidd misses because Kidd isn't our scorer.

I can't stand it when Nachbar and Carter miss wide open threes.

Another thing that annoyed me in the 4th quarter was Kidd guarding House and Carter was guarding Ray Allen. It should have been the other way around with Kidd on Allen since this is the better defensive matchup. It didn't cost the Nets the game this time but for another time in the future, put Kidd on the better offensive SG and let him chase them around and get up in their face and try to lock them down.

LMAO i guess there was a reason that he hasn't played in the league since though. But i loved the 04-05 team overall, so much damn heart, JABARI SMITH! lol. By the way Jizzy, Mags for Anthony Parker in NBA 2k8 has been workin like a charm for me lol

Yeah lets bench the player averaging 10.5 and 9 as a starter, while playing the best defense in the frontcourt! That's just plain stupid. Boone isn't the problem. Also Brad Miller is an older Nenad (another month and he'll be back) so no thanks.

We need a true SG who shoots the ball with accuracy...not a bigman who fancies himself a shooter.

I didn't say Boone was the problem. Boone has been playing better than Sean, but Sean has more potential which I hope he lives up to and becomes the eventual starter for the team. But throughout the season it could end up go either way of who starts between Sean and Josh. That's not a big issue anyways.

Brad Miller an older Nenad? Great! That was the point of my post. Get a player with a similar skillset so there isn't a drop off in production or skill level when one comes out of the game. This type of depth would be most useful in the long regular season when there are injuries and such. It could also bring some consistency to their offense.
