Have to tip your hat to him. 14 points, 16 rebounds, 4 blocks. Did a great job against the Celtics' bigs. Only one personal foul.

Forget about the foul shooting. This guy works his ass off every game. He's doing exactly what scouts said he could do. Finish around the rim, rebound, block shots, defend, hustle, and give 100% each game.

One major concern for him coming out was confidence. But right now he's playing at a high level, and his confidence must be sky high right now.

If you don't have a KG, a Yao, a Tim Duncan, or a Dirk, Josh Boone is exactly the type of player you want. He's a keeper.

Amen. This kid is the reason for this teams turn around. I love his hustle...he is always looking for the rebound...trailing to the hoop. Look at the rim when the shot goes in...you'll see Boone at the rim in the air looking for the offensive rebound.

Boone owes it all to me.

I selected him for my S2 Rotisserie team and he has played well.

Pretty soon he will be getting a ransom note for me not to drop him

Next year he will be even better. Definately free throws will be a huge part of the off-season and I can actually see him being a starter for awhile now.

hey, I was one of the most vigorous Boone bashers at the beginning of the season (when he really sucked), but, boy, what a difference half-a-season makes! Josh looks legit NBA center, especially comparing to our previous one. I'm impressed with his both defensive and offensive games and his work ethic. If he only shot FT better that would made him even more dangerous on the O end. But overall, now it doesn't look like the Nets have made a mistake picking him at 23.

All those players are lottery picks and future/present all stars.
If your putting a second year 23rd pick kid anywhere near these players category than we got a steal.
    Which is what we got.

Look at the big men in that draft.

    2) Portland - Lamarcus Aldridge (18pts, 7.5 rebounds)
    5) Atlanta - Sheldon Williams (3pts, 3 rebounds)
    9) Golden State - Patrick O'Bryant (1.5pts, 1.1 rebounds)
    10) Seattle - Mohammed Sene (1.7pts, .8 rebounds)
    12) New Orleans - Hilton Armstrong ( 3pts, 2 rebounds)
    15) New Orleans - Cedric Simmons (.05 pts, 2.1 rebounds)
    18) *Washington - Oleksiy Pecherov (has not played in league)

    and finally...

    23) Josh Boone (as a starter: 10+ pts 8+rebounds)

Tell how he is not a steal...we should thank baby jesus this all worked out. Apparently nobody in the league believed in him and look at those results the second best bigman in the draft only to Lamarcus Aldridge.

Boone can be a solid double double guy for us for a long time. I hope this organization is smart and does everything in there power to develop a more fluent O. game for Boone and Williams this off season because their potential is through the roof. Get Boone some more post moves, he's never going to be an incredible offensive option but he's capable of 12-15 ppg and 10 boards no doubt. Williams while he struggled the last few games has the potential to have a nice mid range jump shot added to his game if you watch him shoot.

My pal Josh is doing very well, I am not surprised and i am proud of him.

He has a very high Basketball IQ and is a really nice and down to earth kid who needs to be feed.

I am not kidding when I say if he can hit FT'S and shoot from the outside he will be a All star.
