There are conflicting reports out right now about where Ryan Mallett is going to transfer. Rivals put up about half an hour ago that he will be transfering to Arkansas, but Ryan's Dad told the Associate Press that no decision had been reached about an hour ago

    the AP story
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'><span style="font-size:10pt;line-height:100%"><span style="color:#000000">NN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) - Former Michigan quarterback Ryan Mallett hasn't decided yet where to resume his college football career.

His father, Jim Mallett, tells The Associated Press that he and his son have visited Arkansas and talked with Texas A&M and Tennessee.

Mallett announced last week that his son was leaving Michigan with the departures of offensive coordinator Mike DeBord and quarterbacks coach Scot Loeffler (LEHF'-lur) from the Wolverines.

The 6-7, 252-pound former Texarkana Texas High School star has a strong arm best suited for a pro-style offense. Mallett's future at Michigan ended shortly after the school hired West Virginia coach Rich Rodriguez last month to succeed retiring coach Lloyd Carr. That's Rodriguez plans to have his spread offense led by a mobile quarterback.

Mallett threw for more than 2,500 yards and 27 scores as a senior at Texas High, where he was a 3-year starter and earned Texas Class 4A offensive player of the year honors. After sitting out next season, he'll have three years of eligibility.</div>
