LINK I cant believe this. Finally we are one of the best teams in the league and our second player is injured for first time on his carrer. Hate you lamar.
8 weeks! Laker fan are going to go nuts. Lets all hope Kwame steps up and makes those shots and grabs those fuckin rebounds!
Ouch....so it's looking like early march he gets back. Assuming it goes on schedule, that leaves him ~20 games to get back into the flow of things before the playoffs. Hopefully the Lakers will be able to stay afloat with him out for that long.
Lamar Odom better play like an All-Star for the next 8 weeks. The Lakers are pretty much forced to sign another big body at this point.

Sorry, I'm too lazy right now to search for it.</div> Last night against Memphis, he came down awkwardly and kind of twisted his knee on the way down. This is terrible news for the team and fans. On the bright side, it looks like he'll be able to finish out the year and possibly be ready for the playoffs. Obviously he won't be the same right away, but it's something to think positive about I guess. At least it's not ligament damage.
Is Danny Fortson still around? I've always admired his game and I think he'd really beef up our front line. I'm afraid he might be too much of a JailBlazer for the cupCakers though.

It's like he knew! chingy0007: <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>How long til Bynum blows a knee?</div>
Andrew Bynum has been dropped by 3593 teams in Yahoo! leagues wow! Here's a couple of names the team might want to consider: 1. Chris "Birdman" Anderson (he'll be eligible for the league again soon after being suspended for substance abuse.) 2. Kandi man
Like I said before, get Stephane Lasme! With Bynum gone, we need somebody to swat shots, and the guy is a shot blocking machine <div align="center"></div> <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Lasme's senior year at UMass was filled with personal accomplishments, records, and team success. Lasme was named a 2006/2007 AP Honorable Mention All American, 2006/2007 Atlantic 10 Player of the Year, and 2006/2007 Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Year. Lasme holds the UMass record for career blocked shots and single season blocked shots, setting both his senior season passing Marcus Camby on both lists. Lasme averaged 13.5 points per game, 9.5 rebounds per game, and 5.1 blocks per game his senior year while leading UMass into the NIT tournament. In 2007, Lasme tied an NCAA record of 4 triple doubles during a season. Lasme joins Jason Kidd (1994 at Cal) and Michael Anderson (1986 at Drexel) as the only college players to tally four triple doubles in a single season. While Kidd and Anderson accomplished the feat by achieving double figures in scoring, rebounds, and assists, Lasme's triple doubles are in scoring, rebounds, and blocks. His 4 triple doubles were: vs. St. Francis on 22 November (19 pts, 10 reb, 11 blocks); vs. George Washington on 10 January (23 pts, 15 reb, 11 blocks); vs. Rhode Island (18 pts, 12 reb, 11 blocks) on 8 February and vs. La Salle on 28 February (17 pts, 10 reb, 10 blocks).</div> If you can't get Webber, get him!
The problem with Lasme is his height. He's a generous 6'8 with a freakish wing span. He'd be a nice backup PF for our team, but not the big body needed to replace Bynum. We need a legit 7 footer who can take up space in the paint, rebound, and finish strong.
