    I really don't feel like making a preview today. Here's Celtics.com's little write-up:

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>A little inclement weather might be enough to cancel the morning shootaround in Waltham, but it won't stop the Celtics from hosting the Wizards at the Garden tonight in a the second half of a rare NBA home-and-home set.

The game will tip off at 7:30 as scheduled at the TD Banknorth Garden tonight. Fans are encouraged to use public transportation if possible.

The C's played without point guard Rajon Rondo Saturday night in Washington, and his status for tonight is up in the air. Rondo injured his lower back in a fall during the second half of Friday's win in New Jersey.

After losing in two of their last three games, the Celtics are looking to get back on track and put together another streak after falling to the Wizards 85-78 in Washington Saturday night in a very physical game.

It's not all bad news though. The C's have yet to lose consecutive games this year, and by the way, they still own the NBA's best record at 30-5. Still, Coach Doc Rivers was not happy with the outcome and is looking for a better effort from his troops tonight.

"I thought Washington deserved it," Rivers said. "It was a scrum - that's what it looked like. It was more like rugby for the most part. Every loose ball, every long rebound they got."

Boston's offense has been sputtering over the last three games, averaging just over 82 points per game and just under 44% from the field.

The good news is that the Wizards, winners of two straight games, have been an up-and-down road team, winning just half of their games away from the Verizon Center. Forward Antawn Jamison knows that just because they were able to knock off the C's in their own house doesn't mean they can expect similar results tonight.

"We've got to find a way to get a win on the road. We have to match their energy. It is a different story when you are at home. It is going to be crazy on Monday and we know that they are going to bring a lot of energy. We have to do a great job of matching their energy and playing good defensively like tonight."</div>

Boston has this one. I think Garnett would of exploded on the guys for not winning before and letting the Wizards get so many rebounds. If Boston loses again, I'll be surprised and I think there will be more seriousness tonight.

Well, on the contrary, Garnett only grabbed 6 boards in that game as well. Brendan Haywood did a terrific job of using his body to keep KG off the glass all game long, and Jamison killed us on the offensive glass (he had 8 or 9 offensive boards - 16 total).

I definitely agree though, we will come out with more energy tonight. We're at home, we've lost 2 of the last 3, and we have a 3-game home stand this week. We need to take advantage.

I was impressed when the Wiz did it once, if they can do it again, they officially have an unofficial fan.

CB32, the Wizards will put up something, last game had too much emotion in it for the Wizards to come in here and just got rocked. Although it is a possibility that the Celtics dominate us like they did on Nov. 2nd, I don't think we'll roll over and hand them the win like we did then.

Did the Tony Allen dunk make anybody else jump out of their seat and scream "YES!"

This team hasn't played with that spark that they were for the first 32-33 games of the season, and that needs to be fixed. You can't let the Washington Wizards go on a 21-6 run to close out a game on your home floor, and beat you twice in 3 days. It's ridiculous.

Hats off to Washington for coming out confident and outworking the Celtics two games in a row, but the Celtics need to get a lot of rest tomorrow on their day off and absolutely come out with Kevin Garnett-like fire on Wednesday night.

I'm not ready to slit my wrists... this isn't the end of the world. Hell, we are 30-6, but this past week of basketball has not been Celtics basketball. With that said, I think we're going to rebound from it.

PS - Get a backup point guard by the trading deadline, whether it come via free agency or via trade, or I will go ballistic.

No way ANY team should blow a lead in the 4th like that. Enough of this small ball, and enough of relying on outside shots.
