<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Stephon Marbury said he isn't seeking a trade but added, "I'm not going to sit here and tell you that I would be mad about it."

Anything short of a season-ending injury would leave Marbury in play for the most sensible destination before next month's deadline: Miami. Pat Riley is desperate for a scoring guard. The Knicks would get point guard Jason Williams and small forward Ricky Davis, whose contracts totaling $15.8 million expire after the season. They also would have to take guard Smush Parker ($2.2 million), an immediate buyout candidate. -- Newsday</div>

    1. He's injured and might not even play again this season.

    2. Who cares what he wants?

    3. Pat Riley is going to trade $18M of expiring contracts for a washed-up Marbury?? Who makes these things up?

Yeah, the Heat have a lot of work to do, and Marbury isn't going to be the answer to come in there and turn things around. They are better off letting the cap space clear at the end of the season.
