The Giants have played the Patriots once so they know what to expect at least, and the Packers do not look as good as NYG when Eli is in Peyton mode.

Honestly, I don't expect much of a Super Bowl. The Giants are a good team, but I honestly don't think they stand much of a shot.

a lot of super bowls are boring, mainly because of the hype, but itll be tough for the Giants to win. But for them to even be in this situation is a great thing.

I'd agree with you if this was mid-season, but the Pats have squeaked out victories the entire second half of the season. Eli already played well against them, I think the game will at least be competitive.

what might hurt them is there lack of depth at CB, but if the G men can overcome that, they have a very good chance at winning imo

I actually have a theory about Eli not wanting to play in SD.

    Just a theory, so relax:

Peyton made Indy into a contender, I'm sure the Manning family was cocky and thought Eli could do the same for LT and the Chargers so they wanted to avoid annual SD/Indy matchups in the AFC. It would be a longshot for them both to end up in the Superbowl, and they could avoid that whole uncomfortable Manning vs Manning situation. Plus the NFC is pathetic.

Yeah, I remember some of the papers talking about the same theory out here. I still hate Eli for how he shunned San Diego.

I just don't see how the Giant's paper thin secondary is going to stop Brady. He's going to be throwing in 60-70 degree weather, if he gets the time he can pick the Giants apart.

it almost seems like a Rams-Patriots game from a years back, i just have that feeling. Where the Pats are now the Rams and The Giants are the old Pats
i dunno just have that weird feeling
