A bit vulgar but I agree. The Big Three were injured, NE almost got a bye if it wasn't for that great SD defense and their pass rush/coverage.

Like this....18-0...why don't you dudes stop hating? It's lonely on the top but still....

People act like New England never can choke under pressure and they don't face adversity.

Look at how much hype was built up for them to go 19-0. Now it's going to be a media disaster if they don't win. People act like that pressure can't get to players. They're human beings too..

I think you missed his point, he didn't deny that the Pats were 18-0. He was just pointing out some things, although no one knows what would have happened with a healthy SD team. I'd say SD would have won the way SD played defense today.

The guy's just pissed after a loss.

Games like this make me realize how redundant Championships are. Peyton played a lot better against SD but obviously this is a team sport.

SD has a nice base to work on in the future at least, Vincent Jackson developed nicely at the end of the season, etc.

Look for these two teams next year in this game as well. They both didn't play there top game but congrats to the pats. I'm not a big fan at all, but Brady is a hell of a player, and for all the times I've been annoyed at the pats, i need to give them respect. After seeing my Steelers win the Super Bowl 2 Years ago i realized how hard it is to win one, i do give a lot of respect to the Pats, especially doing it going 18-0. Congrats and Good Luck.

BTW, since the Packers won SBXXXI, the AFC has won 8 of the last 10 super bowls (Ravens, Broncos (x2), Steelers, Pats (x3) and Colts)

They both didn't play to their best ability, but that's because the Chargers have a great defense (Thus NE didn't blow them out) and the Chargers were not healthy. Give SD a little more credit then that.

Brady played ****ing horrible today. Thank god Laurence Maroney, Kevin Faulk, Logan Mankins (yep giving credit to the offensive lineman that stepped up all this postseason) and the entire defense stepped up (no touchdowns allowed).

Great play by my boys, I'm happy...yet a little disappointed.

Props to the New England Patriots, but boy Brady stunk it up out there.

The Chargers had every chance to win that game, but I think big game inexperience came back to bite them in the ass. 3 of your key stars were down with crucial injuries is no excuse. Injuries are a part of the game and Rivers muscled it out, Gates did for the most part. I'm very disappointed in LT. He claimed all week he was fine, stated he was 90% healthy, looked good in practice...it's a championship game son, you got to tough it out. Very, very disappointed in him.

In big games like this, you can't settle for FG's, you need to punch it into the end zone. A Touchdown or two would've completely swung the game in our favor, as I believe we played the game with most of the momentum. Either way, great game for both teams!

    LET'S GO PACK!

Yeah I don't know what to make about the LT situation, maybe he was really suffering? Good try though Bolts.

The Chargers' defense has exploded onto the scene, that is a sweet core you people have.

I don't know about the LT situation, if there are no new injury reports coming out soon...I'll be very PO'd at him.

Yeah, Norv stated that he couldn't push off his right leg to generate power. I guess it's a valid excuse, I'm just very disappointed.

Say what you guys want about Philip Rivers, but I love the man. He is a big time QB. Two sprained MCL's and a partially torn ACL in his right foot, his plant leg, and he still played a pretty damn good game in my eyes. The first interception was all on Chambers. The kid is a warrior, I love him. There isn't a QB in the league outside of Peyton or Brady that I'd want leading my team to be honest with you.

The Chargers future is absolutely fantastic man. The defense (Cromartie, Jammer, Merriman, Phillips, Weddle, Tucker, Williams), LT, Vincent Jackson (Huevon knows I was down on this guy, but he really emerged when it counted), Chambers, Gates, and the man leading them...Philip Rivers. God I"m stoked for next season!

I've heard two reports, one stating we're $30 million under the salary cap and the other stating $43 million. Are their any big name FA's this year?

Donovan McNabb lead the Eagles past the Cardinals while playing on a broken leg [IMG]

Naw, just playing. Philip Rivers is amazing. It takes a lot of gut to go out there and play with those kind of injuries while still talking trash non-stop. lol. I have a feeling the Chargers will be back next year. Like you said, they are extremely young and talented (Cromartie is amazing). The Patriots really cannot get any better, if anything, they'll regress because I'm sure they're going to have to let some key players leave in free agency. I'm not sure about the Colts, but you guys already beat them in the playoffs, so I'm sure you guys can take them again

Chargers have some scary talent that's all young. Not many big time FAs this yr. Might be after releases and such. Chargers should save their money or just use most of it to extend their younger players. Just fix a need here or there. You don't wanna lose those players when time comes.

Philip Rivers is the man, but I'm really hyped up about V.Jackson and Cromarite for next season. And with the addition of Chambers to this team, we just might be back in the AFC Championship.

Well, Randy Moss doesn't have a contract but the Pats will at least Franchise tag him I suppose. Who knows what happens with his trial though, so stay tuned. I doubt Moss leaves.

Word. Cromartie is freaking awesome. He's my favorite player behind Brian Dawkins, Donovan McNabb, Brian Westbrook, Jeramiah Trotter, and John Runyan.
