Ah, I'm very proud of my team today! Great loss! Not many losses does it make you feel that your team took a step forward, but this was one of them!

Do the Chargers need a new DE? I believe Julius Peppers and Terrell Suggs will hit the market.

Agreed with you on the fake holding penalty, the Chargers should have scored there, but Brady's interceptions a week later were much uglier, so there. [IMG]

Chargers are very talented and very young, which is the reason why they were close and the reason why they lost in the end. Rivers played very well, aside from the picks. Of course, on two of the picks I can remember, he was trying to throw a deep ball on arm strength alone. If he had his legs (or ligaments) under him, he probably wouldn't have underthrown those balls.

I've been damn impressed with this Chargers secondary. Against the two best QB's in the league, they've intercepted the ball 11 times. And they've got a bright future. In fact, the entire defense is going to be a force for years to come.

And Philip Rivers has also earned my respect. I considered him a colossal douche after all those trash-talking incidents (I still kinda do), but he showed a helluva lot of heart last night. He's showing improvement with his reads and he isn't making stupid throws as much anymore. I'm excited to see him next season.

Tomlinson appeared to be injured, so I won't hold that against him. But, the one problem I had was with his demeanor on the sidelines. He looked completely forlorn, wasn't talking to or encouraging any of his teammates, and just sat with that visor on the entire time. That was real weak, IMO.

Yeah I thought the same Chutney, he should of tried to encourage he's teammates instead of just sitting there but whatever.

I have to admit I wasn't that impressed with the Chargers defense the first game Peyton played in, because Peyton just lobbed the ball at the end of the game and some receivers stopped running routes and the Colts weren't healthy. I considered that game a fluke.

However, the Chargers proved to me that they are indeed quite talented because of the way they have performed these last two weeks against healthy and elite offenses. They are consistent, and while they didn't earn those first six picks, they are the type of team that can easily pick a QB off twice if he isn't careful. Not many teams can say that.

Props to SD on this season.

I just can't wait until we get some real safeties in there. We've got one who isn't the starter in Eric Weddle, we need to sign another one though. Marlon McRee and Clinton Hart aren't cutting it. Yeah Hart had a good year, but honestly, I think it was more of a lucky year than him putting in the effort.

Rivers man, ****ing amazing. He had arthroscopic surgery last Monday so he could play yesterday. He also played an a completely torn ACL.
