If Thomas is fired as team president, it is believed the Knicks would reconsider various offers Thomas has recently rebuffed. Among them are scenarios that include guard Jamal Crawford leaving town, and another – according to a source – that would have put New Jersey shooting guard Vince Carter in a Knicks uniform. I wouldn't mind seeing crawford, nate, balkman, and lee on this team...and wouldn't mind giving up VC +maglorie or something. not going to happen ever, but still.
hey- the trade works, cool! unfortuantly, those are the best players on the knicks. no way they'd give them all up.
there is nobody i want on the knicks but if the trade will happen then we should get back eddy curry though he can't rebound and defend! he fouls out a lot of people though, shoots a high %tage and gives us someone to dump the ball into down low...getting crawford/lee/balkman/nate who are all runners would be better though impossible and we would have too many players...

I would hate Carter to play for the Knicks. That would just be awful. And more likely than not, such a deal would cause a chain reaction, where Kidd would want a trade. They would have to get a lot back for Kidd to be happy. And Real, I like that trade.

I mean if Vince is traded I'm guessing it'd be for this mythical idea of "a bigman," and then the team would start to resemble the finals team a bit more, in the sense that our star players would be PG, SF, and PF. Not to underrate Kittles, of course, but its possible that after these hypothetical moves are done we can be competative and keep Jason.

Vince seems good friends with Kidd now which leads me to believe if Carter was traded, Kidd would not be too happy. I wouldn't mind Wilson Chandler or David Lee.
