Van Persie Out For “A Few Weeks” – Wenger <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Arsène Wenger has revealed that Robin van Persie will remain sidelined for “a few weeks”, since his injury against London rivals Tottenham on January 9 proved more serious than initially estimated. “Compared to last week we have Robin van Persie who is out for a few weeks.” the French boss told Arsenal TV Online in a video interview which will be available to subscribers on Friday morning. The 24-year-old Dutchman suffered a thigh injury during the League Cup semi-final first leg and was withdrawn during the interval. At the time Wenger thought that it was nothing serious and later said that van Persie missed Saturday’s Premiership clash to Birmingham City (which also ended in a 1-1 draw at the “Emirates”) suffering from the flu. Third time unlucky This is the third time the international winger / forward has been hit with injury in just less than a year, after fracturing the fifth metatarsal of his right foot against Manchester United on January 21, 2006 and then hurting his knee playing for his country against Slovenia, on October 17. As a result, he’s only played in 14 of Arsenal’s games this season, which was enough for him to score seven times. There was more bad news for The Gunners, as Wenger said that Johan Djourou has had a groin inflammation that will keep him out of action for two weeks. On a positive note, Tomáš Rosický will be back for the derby game against Fulham on Saturday.</div>

(if a team is willing to pay double what he's getting now)</div> No not now. At the start of the season when he was only scoring in Carling Cup but now he seems to be improving Vastly every match, He won't be the Next Henry but the other players won't be as pressurised to perform with him like they were when Titi was there. So in theory he has the potential to become as Influential as Henry was. Which i hope of course he will be.
