<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>NBA Weighs On Anderson's Mind There are agents waiting to pounce, scouts watching his every move and outsiders on the Internet with their countless 2008 NBA mock drafts, many of which project him as a late first-round pick. "As much as people say it's supposed to be fun and you're going to compete for your school, it is kind of tough because people really get on you about that (NBA) stuff," Ryan Anderson said. "As much as you don't want it to get in your head, it does. There are people out there who pressure you, people who say things that kind of get in your head before games. I've really tried to block that out." -- Contra Costa Times</div>
While I think people should just leave these guys alone during the season, I think it'd be wise for Anderson to come out this year. His stock is at an all-time high and I don't see it raising much more. He's likely a first round pick this year, and I think he could become a Hedo Turkoglu-like player (a little tougher than Turk, though) when it's all said and done.
Cal isnt getting any better than they will be this year. I think he should declare and at least test the waters, but he has dominated the Pac-10 for a year and a half already. The rest of the Pac-10 and scouts have taken notice, its just the national media hasnt yet. He could play on my NBA squad any day of the week, because he is a match up nightmare and can score is so many ways.
I think now that Montgomery is at Cal, he'll stay. Ben Braun is the reason so many Cal players look bad. Ryan Anderson is gonna blossom even more in Mike's system. I feel bad for Devon Hardin, and especially Leon Powe, who could have looked much better (and thus be drafted a lot higher) under a different system.
