I don't have to tell anyone here that I'm not a Patriots fan, but it would never occur to me to boo a 15 year old girl because she's representing the Patriots at a Punt, Pass and Kick event. That's just disgusting and I would expect better from Colts fans. <div><object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/CyFnDNS4THA&"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/CyFnDNS4THA&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350" /></embed></object></div>
As much as I don't like it, I think it would happen most places. From some other story I read, the Colts staffer who organized it told her that she probably wasn't going to get the best of receptions and she was expecting it. http://www.boston.com/sports/football/patr...is_team/?page=2 On the bright side of this story, the Patriots are honoring her before the game on Sunday, so she'll end up with a better ovation than any other winner got.
She was laughing, so she is obviously smart enough to know they weren't booing her, they were booing the Patriots.

I just find it odd that they didn't boo the kid in the Chargers jersey. I also don't like that the mascot started hopping around behind the girl in the Patriots jersey. Its one thing for fans to do that on their own, but for an employee of the team to start encouraging it is a bit much for me.

I think he was told to just jump up and down and act excited so the crowd would cheer the kids. I doubt the guy is that insensitive that he wants to incite fans to boo children.
