So as I was browsing through Best Buy and Sears Electronics earlier today, I made my way past both places, in the direction towards Macy's. Just a few steps in, on the second story, I see a large line of people with Celtic pictures in their hands. I go past it and hear four or five girls behind me saying "What's happening there? Oh it's Kevin Garnett." As the speed of sound reached my ears, the speed of my legs made a instant u-turn. I didn't believe it, but heck, I've been at this Mall for the past hour, what's another five minutes going to do? I go around the line and look through the window, this is the time where being 6'1" really pays off, looking over seven or eight other people I see a large figure sitting on a chair, with an earing in his left. Being as blind as I am (if I were to take the eye exam, there's a pretty good chance I'd lose my liscense), I squish my eyes to see KG, three guys behind me walk past and say "Oh it's Kendrick. And there's a foul on Perkins," only to disappointment. Ah well. And no, I didn't stand in line.
Why not? I think it's unfair that people bash Kendrick Perkins. Who do you guys want to be the Center on this team? Dwight Howard? Perk knows his role and plays his role well. He's still only 22 or 23 and this should be his first or second year in the league. People will mention his minor foul problem that he's basically gotten rid of this year but they wont mention his above-average passing ability as a player thats 6'10''. People are always negative.

People are always negative.</div> I love Perkins, he's one of my favorites, but when someone says KG is there and you go to check it out and you find out it's Kendrick Perkins, there's a slight disappointment. Either way, I still wouldn't stand in line, even if KG was there.
