KC Reports it's acting up again:
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Luol Deng experienced a flare-up of the left Achilles' tendinitis that recently sidelined him for three games, missing Saturday's victory over the Pistons.

Like Andres Nocioni's plantar fasciitis from last season, Deng sat until he thought his condition had subsided, then was sidelined again after just four games.

"I felt it in the fourth [quarter Friday against Golden State]," Deng said. "Afterward, it flared up. I tried to ice it all night and this morning. But it didn't respond."

It's unlikely the injury will become as serious as Nocioni's. The Argentine missed 28 games last season with his ailment.</div>

I don't see why it's unlikely. From what I read, the only way it gets better is if you allow it to really heal. By not being cautious with it, Deng appears to be risking his career to me.

It's tough. He's risking his continued development by not playing, and he'll be playing for contract next season. He's starting to get a reputation of being injury prone.

No doubt it's a crummy situation for him, but a torn achilles would truly suck

Well considering the Bull don't have a great record right now, although you don't want your player to get hurt. If Deng's value goes down some and the Bulls can re-sign him cheaper, I don't think any Bulls fans will complain about that.
