Apparently he's been signed by the Lakers according to Eric Pincus of Hoopsworld aka Emplay.

He's no Chris Webber... Can't hurt to sign him tho.

I'm ok with a ten day contract since we don't have to hold onto him if he plays like garbage. Hopefully this is just a temporary thing with a CWebb signing in the cards.

Well that's nice. Maybe we'll get some luck for a change, and DJ will turn into a steal, though I doubt it.

I wonder if he'll even get to play tonight?

At least he's an additional 6 fouls for us.

I just look at him as an additional big body to clog the lane. Our center depth is so non-existent right now that even this signing helps us to some extent.

This just means good news for Rony, he gets to be more aggressive tonight.

I hope he proves us wrong, but I don't put much faith in this signing. I was reading some comments by the Warrior fans and they said he pretty much sucks on offense.

He has bad hands and when the ball goes inside to him the movement stops and DJ holds on to the ball for too long.

You cant really depend on him for offense. He is like Jamaal Magloire. Holds on to the ball or jacks up a low percentage shot.

He is a decent shot blocker though. But essentially another 6 fouls...

Any big body is a good body right now.

He actually got some burn last night in garbage time. His offense is atrocious, dare I say worse than Kwame?

Defensively he has good size and plays physical. He was knocking Steven Hunter around the court pretty good last night. He also dove to the floor for a loose ball even though the Lakers had a commanding lead.

I didn't think his offense was that bad. He shouldn't be taking jumpers, but his hook shot looked decent, it just rimmed out. In what I saw in the 5 or so minutes he played last night, I'll take him over Kwame. He swatted two shots, was active, dove for a loose ball, and grabbed an offensive rebound. I'll take that if he can stay out of foul trouble.

He's also a black belt in Judo...like I said we found our enforcer.
