Bulls' D was good, but for all the stops, they couldn't buy a basket on most possessions. Gordon is in, as Memphis ups their lead to 12.

It just seems like common sense to me that because of his height and skills he should be the PG, and his ceiling is incredibly high. The Bulls need a star player, and he's got the chance to be that star. He's not as a shooting specialist off the bench. Nice to see Deng in the game. I hope he isn't going to be suffering for it.</div> I felt this way in the past, but I've given up on it because of his TO issues and because the organization doesn't want that kind of PG.
Very true. The organization doesn't want that kind of PG, or at least hasn't. He's been playing a lot more under Boylan, and Hinrich is playing SG almost exclusively. Thabo was at PG to start the 2nd half, for example. Duhon is the PG in the Hinrich/Duhon tandem. Thing is, you have Hinrich who isn't a "true PG" and Gordon who isn't a "true SG" which is an odd situation.
I know I said the season is a wash, but I'll be pissed if they lose this game. There's no reason for that to happen.
There are all kinds of reasons for the Bulls to lose this game and they're all, unfortunately, on display.
Gay is 4-13 but 17 points. When points > FGA, it's pretty good, regardless of the FG%. This is one of those games we need one more guy than we have (so far) to step up and put up some points.
I dunno about Gordon as a PG. It'd be one thing if we were winning, but we're not. I'm guessing Kirk's done for the night?
The problem with Gordon at PG is that he doesn't have much help when he passes it... Like the alley-oop - that's an assist if Thomas makes the play. Gordon's not playing full-time PG - Kirk was at PG for several plays when he was in... Gordon does have 4 assists and only 1 turnover.
Swift with like 2 alley-oops in the past 2 minutes. Thomas with two missed dunks in the same period. That's the story of this game.
