<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Other than the emergence of Josh Boone, there’s not much to like about how the Nets have played recently. One glaring issue is the play of Vince Carter, who is shooting just 39 percent over the last seven. Dave D’Alessandro believes Carter can lead his team out of their slump, but motivation must come from within. Meanwhile, Wendell Maxey of Hoopsworld says the Nets are too ready to make Carter the scapegoat. Fred Kerber talks to Rod Thorn, who says he has nothing on the horizon but won’t hesitate to make a move. Getting Nenad Krstic back would help evaluate where they stand.

to me Krstic is like a rookie right now. I have no idea what to expect from him and don't understand those who think his return will propel the Nets to new highs.

Well Vince shots 69%, so he broke the slump, but not enough to beat hot shooting Kings.

One man can't do it all. Props to him though.

I hope Krstic can contribute pretty quickly. He doesn't have to be great right away, but if he can give us more than we're currently getting from our bigs, it's a great thing.
