I think wright is part of that deal too.

I like it, but I don't. I'd like to keep Mags and Marcus, and maybe switch it with Malik, DA, and/or Collins.

They want to clear cap. Do they really need another PG? Kirk, Duhon, Gordon?

Don't give up Marcus or Kidd will have to play extended minutes again...

what have marcus and mags proven“ getting Noc would be a great trade, and getting a young defensive guard like Thabo as well“? lets look at it player by player

Marcus< Thabo

Noc>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Boki

Mags> Griffen (salary reasons)

Wright< ....

lets get duhon to

No offense, but I'd be very reluctant to take Marcus Williams for nothing. Someone differentiate him from Mateen Cleeves or Frank Williams.</div>
marcus has MUCH more potential then mateen or frank. he's young and can shoot, which hinrich cant do. we want to win now, otherwise, we'd keep him. give us Duhon

marcus and boone have good chemistry together already. it'd suck to see it end so soon

First of all I hate Nocioni but hes pretty good so I'll take him and Sefolosha is a good defender. But giving up Marcus means we will either bring up Gill again or go with DA at full time back up. I also think moving Marcus out of NJ would hurt Boone. Is there any possible way we can get Tyrus Thomas also?? Then I would do it in a heartbeat. Also if this happens say hello to either DJ Augustine or Ty Lawson in the draft.

cmon!!!! boone was averaging 10/10 before Marcus started playing this year. there not gay

LOVE the idea of getting TT. he's a Kidd type of player. noah is getting his minutes

C'mon, he's 38.6% for his career and much worse this year. His three point shot is woeful. He's Jamaal Tinsleylike, at best. IE, not a shooter.

Hinrich's having the worst year of his career and it's still shooting as well as Williams ever has.

then again, marcus has missed nearly half the year, so I give him the benefit.

The trade I would like to see with the Bulls is Carter, Williams, Wright, and Magloire for Hinrich, Nocioni, and Sefalosha.

Bulls shed two long term deals for one plus a young PG. Can't get Kobe so they get Kobe light. Carter could make Gordon more dangerous and the deal frees up some cash so they can re-sign Gordon. Nets get a solid PG behind Kidd who can even play alongside him and there would be minimal luxury tax implications because both Nocioni and Hinrich's contracts decline in future years. The Bulls are probably regretting that deal they gave Hinrich, but he could work out well here.

Edit: Actually I don't think this could be done because both Nocioni and Hinrich are BYC. oh well.

WTF this makes no sense !!! why would they trade Marcus Williams and the best thing you get is Thabo & Nocioni ?

keep Marcus out of this deal !!!

I'd do this trade staight up. Thabo is better than Wright and Noc is better than Boki. We loose Magloire and Marcus but that's something we can take care of in the draft.

I've never been sold on Marcus. He has flashes of good play, but has yet to develop any consistency.

I'd do the trade of Mags, MWill, Boki and Wright for Noc + Thabo, but it doesn't work out financially according to ESPN trade machine.
Throwing in Griffin doesn't make it work either...
It gets even worse with Duhon...

Twin, Boki, Wright + MWill for Noc, Thabo, and Duhon works, but I don't think the Bulls would take that unless we included a 1st round pick... which I'd be strongly against. Maybe if we gave a first and they gave us a 2nd rounder.

Depth chart would look as follows:
Kidd / Duhon / DA
Carter / Thabo
RJ / Noc
SWAT / Noc / Allen
Boone / Krstic / Mags

The Nets would then likely need to bring in Billy Thomas or similar just for depth issues at the 2/3... especially if they started Noc at the 4.

I like the idea of Nocioni. He is a hard nosed player who can knock down open 3s.
I just don't see it working out because of the BYC requiring too many changes in the surrounding pieces.

it makes no sense here we are talking about sending 22 years old Marcus Williams away !! my god this straight up reminds me when the Knicks let go of Mark Jackson and Rod Strickland, again MARCUS WILLIAMS IS 22 YEARS OLD !!!

Nocioni is a tough guy who plays with heart, pretty good on D, and completely annoys the other team, so from that standpoint I like it. Thabo seems wildly inconsistent, but he's an athlete at least. I would hate to see Boki go more than Marcus Williams. Marcus doesn't have the fire, he's way too laid back, no edge to him. Getting rid of Antoine Wright would be the best part of this deal. Addition by subtraction. Harsh but true, sorry.

Nocioni stays on the perimeter he shoots, yes he has heart and for you to say Marcus doesn't have the fire at 22 yrs. old are you serious ? he came back from injury early, worked w/ John Lucas extensively and has shown some potential in taking over the team for the future, the kid is 6 - 17 from 3 PT range and averages like 2 APG in limited time, people said the same crap about Deron Williams and look what he did in Utah, Marcus is damn good. A lot of you will regret this trade if he's part of it. As for Antoine Wright he gets inconsistent minutes and has a horrible coach I'm sorry but example LF in LA when Kobe was getting shut down by AW switched on the last possesion to Kidd, how is this kid suppose to believe in himself after these moves ? or not getting a second vs Jamal Crawford...

if somehow we could get noah i would love this deal, he plays with energy and can rebound something both the bigs off the bench lack

plus he isn't shy of calling out the big name players on the team ex: ben wallace

the only reason i see bulls interested is to free up cash for Deng and Gordon.... with that said why do they even want MWill? he's still on his rookie contract, so hes not getting paid much;but he has yet to prove anything. Which makes me think they only want him to backup Hinrich after they let Duhon walk this summer..

so i see either of these two working...as this trade is difficult to do with the salaries matching and all

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/trad...p;te=&cash=

With DA getting a buyout (or waived) and going back to NJ.

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/trad...p;te=&cash=

the trade that i hope happens. This will free up alot of money for the Bulls, Nets will be over the luxury tax...and not sure if they can resign Krstic? (wasnt to sure if they could sign Krstic and Boki anyways so its a good move to get a shooter like Nocioni. however with this trade i feel that we would have to add a second rounder or two.

I don't believe this deal is going down because they could do a lot better. But if it does, Noah would not be involved.

This would be a panicky deal on the Bulls part. Nocioni is being badly underrated in this thread.

I love Marcus's potential but Noc is no Joke. He plays with more heart than our entire starting 5. I mean the guy would run though a brick wall if the coach ordered him to.

Noc is the man we need.

not at Marcus William's expense, this kid when he becomes the franchise PG of the Bulls alot of people will be pissed off

Realize that Noc is a 3/4 tweener. He'll start for you at PF and give you a fine complement to the big 3.

Playing mostly PF for the Bulls the past few seasons, he's averaged 6.1 rebounds/game in 27 minutes. At 36 minutes/game, he'd grab around 8. Not bad for most PFs in the league.

It's not a matter of underrating Nocioni, it's just a redundant clog in the wheel. Another good/above-average rebounding swing man (or player other than a 4/5) is not what most want to see swapped for younger talent.

What about this trade instead?

Antoine Wright
Bostjan Nachbar
Jamaal Magloire
Jason Collins

for

Rashad McCants
Antoine Walker
Michael Doleac
Chris Richard

Is it worth taking on Antoine Walkers contract to get McCants?

Kidd/M.Williams/Armstrong
Carter/McCants
Jefferson/Walker
Boone/S.Williams/Allen
Krstic/Doleac/Richard
