The bench lacks the guys that get their teammates pumped up. House, Moore and Adams did that for this team. Was one of the main reasons they overachieved last season. Armstrong is about it on the bench now.

Sounds silly that these guys need to be motivated, but it's true. Some guys are self-motivated others get motivation from those around them (almost like a jump start). Everyone knows Frank lets his players self motivate, so if you don't have those players on the bench forget it. Donny Marshall and Lucious were also those type of guys.

That's why you need the towel waivers especailly on this team. Too bad we are so cheap.

    I agree with you.

Sean Williams could be that guy but hes a rookie. The Nets had the best bench in years last season and they choose to let them go. Mikki's contract is not that bad and keeping House would have opened up for Boki as well. Sad really.

At this point I'd much rather have Hassan waving a towel on the bench than Wright actually being on the court.

Hassan waving towel > Wright getting minutes

That's not even an exaggeration. Better things would come from guys looking over towards the bench and seeing Hassan being a cheerleader than the terrific things that happen when the ball is passed to Antoine Wright.

He also needs a spark to light his fire. House and Mikki were the two sticks of wood that lit the fire which spread through this team like a dry Malibu canyon. We need two new sticks of wood.

Agree... they need one more like him and then it would be infectious. They need to have fun again. They're at their best when they have the right combination of fun and are still focused.

Another shooter? That would imply that we currently have at least one.

no, indeed it is not. if only you weren't obsessed with every move Thorn made, then maybe you'd see but until then.. it's hopeless

Jizzy since when does supporting some of the moves that he makes = full out-right support for every single move he's made, ever?

It's ridiculous how un-objective you can be sometimes.
