Now if you want to do that and take on big contracts and long-term deals to potentially hit a home run or get some kind of turnaround, that's not the direction I would go as a businessman or if I owned the team"</div>

I found this to be laughable.

I know the Knicks haven't been very good for a few years now... but does this guy have the audacity to speak? He's probably worse than Dolan.

This is weird. The Knicks and Clippers organization are polar opposites. The Knicks are known for overpaying players and having a huge salary, while the Clippers are known for letting players walk just to stay financially secure. Pretty amusing if you ask me. Only difference is that the Knicks have a great history, while the Clippers have always been a joke.

Dunleavy is the coach and as much as I dislike him, he is right. Its not a shot at the Knicks, its a shot at Isiah. The last thing you want to do when you need to rebuild a culture either due to injuries, no talent, or no chemistry is add large salary players into the mix.

You know its bad when you can't even make a rebuttal against the friggin' Clippers. Dunleavy might suck, but he's right.

No one is worse than Dolan.

I can't believe any Knicks fan would defend that clown.

Yes, there are worse owners than Dolan. Having an owner that doesn't care how much money is spent is very nice. Dolan's problem is that he hires idiots.

That said, I don't understand how this comment from Dunleavy became construed as Dunleavy vs Dolan. Dunleavy is the Clippers coach and de facto GM and he is talking about the GM decisions made by the Knicks.

Dunleavy has only worked for the Clippers since the 2003-2004 season and he took them to a 47 win season in the Western Conference. Easily a much better resume than Zeke

That quality has put the Knicks in a hole they can't get out of.

The reason Dolan is the worst owner is because he is an arrogant dickhead with a low IQ who never had to work for anything.

The reason he hires idiots and is so fiercely loyal to them is because he has the mental age of a 14 year old.

The Knicks could get out of their hole; however, Zeke isn't someone capable of doing it.

Dolan is likely the worst human that owns an NBA team, but he isn't the worst owner
