<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>4. Jason Kidd, New Jersey Nets - The way the Nets are struggling this season, it might be hard to remember how good the team was when Jason Kidd first arrived in New Jersey. But talk to any of his teammates past or present, and they'll tell you he's a first class teammate. Not only that, but he makes his teammates better and might be the best point guard of his generation. Sure he's had his differences with a coach or two, but most great players throughout history have. The bottom-line is Kidd is a player who has elevated the level of play of the guys around him for a long time and players simply love playing with him. If you're skeptical, just ask all of the superstars who ran with him this summer as members of Team USA.</div> Source
Great article in the local paper today. Some HS pics in a slide show: http://www.insidebayarea.com/ci_8063516

Oh yea, way to blame it on Kidd when each individual is responsible for their own actions. Is Kidd responsible for Boki missing open shots? VC disappearing during games? RJ losing his game? I don't think so.
It never seems to fail. Fans loyalty only goes as far as their team goes. I can still remember the time when a lot of you cheered for Jason Kidd when the Nets were winning. Now most of you want to get rid of him. After the guy practically took the Nets out of the bottom of the garbage and into contenders. Now all you see are his turn overs? Tsk tsk tsk. If your wishes come true, Kidd would be out of New jersey in a matter of weeks. With the departure of one the greatest player of all-time, you guys will have to look for another guy you can point your fingers at. Two words for the Nets, GOOD LUCK!
