Pick five East reserves and two alternates--specify if you are picking who you expect to make the team or who you want to make the team.
I was the secnd person to vote, and I picked exactly the same seven as the first person. Who was that?

Dirk, Davis, Paul, Nash, and Amare are definitely gonna be on the team. And I believe Kaman and Roy should be there, too. I wish I coulda picked Jackson, Camby, Marion, and West too...but it's a 12 man team.

Paul is playing on an elite western team and playing as good as any PG in the league. Roy, while he is having a great season, is playing on the 8th seeded team. I am a homer but I will be PISSED if Baron doesn't get in and Roy, Deron, Parker, etc. do. Baron has Roy beat in every single statistical category except FG% and FT% (hes down 3% from Roy in both categories). Hes averaging 3 more ppg, 2.5 more apg, more rpg, 1.6 more spg, more bpg. Not to mention hes playing on a better team. I've heard all the excuses before as to why a Warrior player shouldn't get in; too many games missed, the team is not winning enough, etc. but now Baron is the best player of all these guys statistically and his team is better than theirs (except Parker). Leading up to the coaches decisions, the Blazers are 5-5 in their last 10, 3-5 in their last 8. The W's are 7-3 in their last 10 and Baron just tallied a triple double against Kidd. Other than that, I chose Camby over Kaman because Camby's team is a lot better. Both are having all-star caliber seasons but you have to give it to Camby who is on a much more successful team and once again poised to win DPOY. I picked Boozer to get in there because hes having an amazing season. Also a tough choice between Dirk and Amare but I took Amare because hes got better numbers in every category except assists and shooting 59% from the field.Paul and Nash are obviously in there and Roy is my final WC.

He isn't even as close to as good as Davis. And Parker...ha. You can sum up why him and his team are any good in two words: Tim Duncan. I'm with ya, Run. If Baron Davis isn't on the team, I'll be pissed, too.

There are so many deserving players in the West, but here are my picks: Chris Paul Steve Nash Dirk Nowitzki Carlos Boozer Marcus Camby Brandon Roy Baron Davis
