    Don’t Expect Any Big Deals
January 25, 2008, 7:29 am With more than half the NBA having to pay the luxury tax this year, few want to take on big contracts right now and that is making deal-making problematic. Rod Thorn admits that his and other owners’ fear of the tax is limiting the likelihood of big deals So instead of getting offers for Vince Carter, he is getting more for Sean Williams.

A change is needed for the Nets, but if Thorn actually trades Sean Williams....he's going to get ripped. Unless that trade magically turns the Nets into a championship team. I would expect nothing less.

He better not trade Sean.. would be another regret to add to his long list.

hmm...I guess he's gonna let it ride.
I can live with him not making any moves if we can get higher value closer to the draft.
