Hey, sounds like Ben Wallace to me.</div>

Joe Dumars is some where laughing his ass off but not too much because they have not been in the Finals in two years. Still they are a constant presence in the ECF

I would find it hard to believe that there are no teams out there that need a good SG and could offer us something respectable. Yeah, he makes $60 mil, but there are a lot of guys out there making a lot more money than they should be.

It doesn't make sense for any team that's not making the playoffs to make a trade for Carter...the only teams which would be likely trade destinations are teams with playoff hopes trying to get to the next level.

Looking at the Eastern Conference Playoff picture...
    1) Boston...no need for VC
    2) Detriot...no need for VC
    3) Orlando...minor interest tough financial matchup
    4) Cleveland...whould be interested but a package of Larry Hughers, Shannon Brown and a first isn't really that appealing
    5) Toronto...no interest whatsoever
    6) Washington...not a likely trade partner
    7) Atlanta...no interest
    8) Indiana...not likely...would possible swap involving O'neal but that might be a step backwards

    9) New Jersey...8 games below 500. and we are only a 1/2 game out of the playoffs.
    10) Milwaulkee...no need for VC
    11) Chicago...MAYBE...but they seem to be ignoring possible playoff run

Everyone else is probably out of playoffs

    Western Conforence

    1) New Orleans
    2) Phoenix
    3) Dallas
    4) Denver
    5) San Antonio
    6) LA Lakers
    7) Golden State
    8) Portland

    All no need for VC.

    9) Utah...maybe also but is there anybody on the team we'd even want?
    10) Houston...not likely
    11) Sacremento...no interest

Everyone else is out of the playoff picture.

So out of all the teams in the Playoff hunt only 3-4 might have interest and remember that's still a strong might.

VC is a Net until at least next season...just my opinion.
Unless of course we just give him away...but that would be stupid. We would be better served trading Kidd and RJ now than throwing Carter away for table scraps.
